Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a precoated steel plate having an appearance of smooth protrusions and recesses without being accompanied by defects.
SOLUTION: An ordinary coating material is applied as a first layer and a coating material prepared by blending another resin satisfying a particular requirement in a coating material having a thermosetting resin as a binder is applied as a second layer on a metal plate and forced drying and hardening are effected. A coated metal plate having an appearance of smooth protrusions and recesses can be produced without defects.
