PURPOSE: To manufacture a coated steel plate for cold forming use having excellent lubricity and corrosion-resistance of the uncoated surface, and suitable for automobile parts, etc., by emulsifying a lubricant substance such as higher fatty acid glyceride, etc. with a specific amount of surface active agent, and applying the liquid to both faces of a steel plate.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A lubricant substance composed mainly of a higher fatty acid glyceride or higher alcohol ester is emulsified with (B) a surface active agent imparted with corrosion-resistance and electrical conductance (e.g. polyoxyethylene alkyl ether) to a solid content of 10W40wt%. The emulsion is applied to both faces of a coated steel plate for cold forming in an amount to form a film having an areal density of 1W5g/m2 (dry basis).
EFFECT: Also excellent in the prevention of the deterioration of the coating film, anti-blocking property, defatting property, weldability, etc.
