PURPOSE: To enhance wear resistance, prevent suncrack from developing with time and obtain colored wooden flooring, in which uneven color and color inequality are hard to develop and colors are arranged as requested, by a method wherein the surface of decorative plywood is covered by film, which is formed by thermosetting thermosetting resin-impregnated sheet.

CONSTITUTION: Multi-color printing is applied on one side of sheet with transparent or translucent ink under the condition that color is changed by employing color boundary lines 3a corresponding to joint parts 2a of the surface pattern of the veneer 2 of decorative plywood as borderline. Impregnated sheet 3 is produced by infiltrating thermosetting resin in sheet 5 after the ink dries. The decorative plywood and the impregnated sheet 3 are joined together with a hot press under the condition that the impregnated sheet 3 is put on the decorative plywood so as to bring the printed surface of the decorative plywood and, at the same time, to correspond the printed pattern to the surface pattern of the decorative plywood. Then, the thermosetting resin in the impregnated sheet 3 is set. Thus, the evaporation of moisture out of the veneer 2 into air is completely suppressed and consequently the sun crack on the surface of the flooring can be prevented from developing with time and the wear resistance of the flooring can be enhanced and, further, the incidence of color inequality can be reduced.
