PURPOSE: To provide the commutator device of a small-sized motor having a very small diameter which is manufactured easily and has a good bonding quality to the rotary shaft of the motor.

CONSTITUTION: The commutator device of a small-sized motor is formed out of a rotary shaft 3, a disk-form commutator supporter 2 fastened to the rotary shaft 3, a sleeve 10 having a thin-wall flange surface and a cylindrical part which is made of an insulator and is so fitted into the rotary shaft 3 that its flange surface is contacted with the commutator supporter 2, a commutator piece 6 which is contacted with the sleeve 10 in its cylindrical surface and has a riser part, and a fastening ring 5 for tacking temporally a plurality of commutator pieces 6 which is contacted with the cylindrical outer-diameter surfaces of the commutator pieces 6 and with their terminal parts. Subsequently, the rotary shaft 3 is made vertical, and the commutator pieces 6 are provided on the upper side of the commutator supporter 2. In this state, the commutator pieces 6 are so fastened in a bonding way to the rotary shaft 3 and to the commutator supporter 2 that a bonding agent S having a low viscosity is dropped on the top surface of the commutator supporter 2 and the gaps generated among the commutator pieces 6, the sleeve 10 and the rotary shaft 3 are filled with the bonding agent S by the capillary phenomenon of the fine clearance interposed between the adjacent commutator pieces 6.
