PURPOSE: To enable the title method to make prints of a hand and foot easily, by a method wherein two boxes of the same shape are filled respectively with clay, on one side of the clay of which the hand or the foot is put, the hand or the foot is pressed and plunged into the other box in such a manner as to shut a book by making use of a hinge and then the box is opened.
CONSTITUTION: The insides of an A box 1 and B box 2 of a solid handprint model making instrument are filled with a level boxful of clay adaptable to softness of a hand and foot of a body and infant. Then a wrist part and the palm part are pressed against a bent notch 5 of the B box 2 and the clay 6' respectively and the A box 1 is joined swiftly to the B box 2 in a praying state as if a book is shut by making hinges 3, 3' fulcrums. With this construction, a semisolid of the palm part is modeled on the clay 6' and a semisolid of a back side of the hand is modeled on the clay 6 of the A box 1. In addition, the excessive clay is extruded through a hole 7 of the A box 1. With this constitution, the hand and foot prints can be modeled easily.
