PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of the cooing tube, and also, to allow it to have high cooling performance by inserting a spiral structure body formed by repeating a twisting process and a cooling process into the cooling tube, allowing the cooling tube to be subjected to cold drawing, allowing a tape line end of the spiral structure body to adhere closely to the inside surface of the cooling tube and joining it.
CONSTITUTION: By heating only a certain section to which twisting is performed, forming it a prescribed pitch, and immediately thereafter, cooling the part to which twisting is finished, for instance, by allowing cooling water, etc., to flow, and enhancing hardness and strength of a tape, the part to which twisting is performed once is not subjected to twisting again. Subsequently, this spiral structure body 24 is inserted into a cooling tube 7 and subjected to cold drawing, and finished in prescribed dimensions. On the other hand, by contracting the outside diameter of the cooling tube 7, the interval is eliminated, and squeezing is executed until the edge end of a metallic tape adheres closely to the inner surface of the cooling tube 7, or becomes an intruded state. In such a way, the spiral structure body 24 and the cooling tube 7 are fixed firmly, and come to withstand dynamic pressure of cooling water.
