Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the preparation of a defective product by previously calcu lating the outside diameter dimension of a counterweight part permitting the imbalance quantity of the dynamic balance of a crankshaft product in the final working stage to be accommodated within a range permitting the correction by a correction working machine.
CONSTITUTION: A crankshaft product in the final working stage is tentatively prepared by extracting a prescribed number of samples in each production lot of the cranksaft raw members (processes A-N). From the result of the measurement of the dynamic balance of the tentatively prepared sample, the outside diameter dimension of a counterweight part permitting the imbalance quantity of the dynamic balance of the crankshaft product in the final working stage to be accommodated within a range permitting the correction by a correction working machine is previously calculted in each production process (Q). The calculated dimension data is feedback-operated to the counterweight outside diameter grinding work process D in mass production, and the outside diameter dimension of the counterweight part is slightly varied in each production lot, and thus manufacture is executed.
