PURPOSE: To easily obtain a decorative article, the mechanical strength of which is excellent and which gives good fitting feeling by a method wherein a core metal is arranged in casein plastic under its plasticized state before formalizing and, after the casein plastic is formalized.
CONSTITUTION: Casein intimate mixture 7 is filled in the barrel 6 of an extruder 1 and kneaded and plasticized under pressure of the order of MPa and the temperature of about 20W100°C with the ascending temperature gradient from the base part of the barrel 6 to a die 2 so as to be flowed in the die in order to be extruded from die lips 8 in the form of a bar-like body 9. At the same time, a bar-like core metal 4 in continuous form is fed in the through hole 5 of a mandrel 3 in order to insert the core metal 4 in the center of the bar-like body 9. The preferably core metal 4 is a metal with excellent corrosion resistance having any sectional form such as circular form, square form, polygonal form or the like. Thus, the bar-like body (extruded body) 9, in which the core metal 4 is built, is cut in proper lengths and, after that, formalized.
