Abstract:
PURPOSE:To strengthen the adhesive force of an electrically conductive coated film electrode to the surface of diamond by roughing the surface of a diamond part by heating in an oxidizing atmosphere or in an oxidizing agent. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a diamond part is roughed in an oxidizing atmosphere or in an oxidizing agent. For example, potassium nitrate and the diamond part are charged into a crucible, heated to about 650 deg.C from room temp. in about 20min, kept at the temp. for about 10min, and then naturally cooled to 500 deg.C at which the diamond part is taken out. A metallic coated film is deposited, for example, with vacuum vapor deposition on the surface of the diamond part thus roughed to obtain the strongly adhesive capacitance video disk stylus.
