Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce occurrence of failure, and improve a yield by facilitating correction of an electrode position mounted on a stem body structure.
CONSTITUTION: A glass bulb 14 where a carbon film 15 is formed on the inner wall surface and stem glass 20 mounted with a cathode electrode 22 and an anode electrode 24 and the like are sealed up by means of a burner. Afterwards, this glass bulb 14 and front glass 11 where a phosphor surface 12 and an Al metal back film 13 are formed, are sealed up by means of low melting point frit, and a display tube for a light source is manufactured.
