PURPOSE: To obtain a tough welded joint at the low cost by inserting Ag or Ag alloy foil in a joining part of respective one side edges of a Ti plate and a stainless plate or a Ni plate to join these by the resistance welding method in the case of joining the Ti plate to the stainless plate or the Ni plate.
CONSTITUTION: The Ag or Ag alloy foil is inserted in the joining part 1 of the respective one side edges of the Ti plate 2 and the stainless plate 3. The plate thickness of the joining part is made to 1mmW3mm and a 9W13KA welding current is made in the range of the 7W9 cycle weld time and resistance seam welding with the downtime fixed for two cycles is performed to join these plates. By this method, the tough welded joint can be obtained at the low cost by metallurgical joining.
