PURPOSE: To form an adhesive layer around an electrode plate terminal part by only applying an adhesive from one side fact of a metal continuous sheet for electrode plate.

CONSTITUTION: Through-holes 102... are provided in a lead alloy sheet 101 to form a row of electrode plate terminal constituent parts 103.... An exfoliation sheet 104 fitted with a pair of sticky substance layers 106, 107 is adhered to one surface of the lead alloy sheet 101 so that the sticy substance layers are positioned on both sides of the row of terminal constituent parts 103..., and a recess 108 is formed for accepting an adhesive. From the other surface side of the sheet 101, the adhesive 109 is injected through the holes 102 to fill the recess 108, and also the adhesive 109 is applied in such a way as at least enclosing the row of constituent parts 103.... After hardening of the adhesive 109, the exfoliation sheet 104 is torn off, and a current collector is cut away from the lead alloy sheet so that an adhesive layer remains around the constituent parts 103.
