PURPOSE: To obtain a photosensitive body roughened on the surface of a photosensitive layer by coating a substrate with a coating fluid for forming the photosensitive layer, and then, blowing steam on the surface of the coated film before heat drying it.

CONSTITUTION: The substrate 1 is coated with the coating fluid to form the coated film 2, steam is blown on the surface of coated film 2 in a soft state before drying, and condensed in fine dew drops 3 on the surface of the film 2, and the film 2 is heated and dried after condensing the dew drops 2, thus permitting the dew drops 3 and the solvent contained in the film 2 to be evaporated, and the photosensitive layer 4 roughened on the surface to be formed.
