PURPOSE: To manufacture a durable and reliable external cylinder, by providing internal and external layer reinforcing rings, with a room-temp damper and rugged engaging sections for stopping a movement in the peripheral direction, and by forming them integrally with explosive bonding.

CONSTITUTION: Internal and external layer reinforcing rings 3b, 3c having groove sections 14b, 14c in the axial direction, and a cold damper 3a are explosive bonded with each other by using explosive 15 set on the outer peripheral section or on the inner peripheral section. This explosive bonding work is executed by arranging the respective rings 3b, 3c in concentric circle shapes via gaps 16 set adequately, and by proceeding with explosive bonding in the axial direction, and by combing the rings metallurgically by means of the plastic deformation of contracted pipe or an expanded pipe with the energy of the explosives.
