Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture fabric shoes of a relatively high quality with the use of a simple pattern-draw-molded sole without buffing.
CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing fabric shoes comprises the step of joining a sole part 3 composed of a sole 1 formed by pattern-draw-molding a vulcanized rubber sheet and bonded on its top surface along its outer periphery with a sole edge tape 2 formed of an unvulcanized rubber sheet, to a top part 6 formed from instep fabric 5 by use of a shoe die 4, and vulcanizing the edge tape 2 so that the sole part 3 and the top part 6 are integrally incorporated together.
