Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacturing of a fiber suitable for the manufacturing of a conductive material, such as an electromagnetic wave shield material by using a primary metal layer of higher melting point than the temperature of heat treatment at the time of manufacturing the conductive material, and a secondary metal layer of lower melting point, both of which are connected in an integrated form, as a material plate.

CONSTITUTION: A material plate 7 wound around a winding part 5 of a rotating shaft 4 is formed out of a primary metal layer 7a of higher melting point than the temperature of heat treatment at the time of manufacturing a conductive material, and of secondary metal layer 7b of lower melting point. When a blade board 9 is moved along a guide rail 10 in a direction of the material plate 7, at a constant speed, a fiber is continuously manufactured as a cutting blade 8 is fed. Since each metal layer 7a, 7b of the material plate 7 can be cut in a condition that the connected state is maintained, without the peeling off of each layer, a fiber suitable for manufacturing a conductive material in which a primary metal part and a secondary metal part are provided in an integrated form, can be manufactured. Also, since the connection is reinforced by mutually bridging the primary metal part of the fiber dispersed in the material by the melted secondary metal part, conductive function is remarkably improved.
