Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the smoothness of a filter medium surface section and the pore diameter distribution of a filter layer within the specified range without reducing the effective area as the filter medium and provide a filter which is dense on the inflow side and rough on the outflow side of sucked dust when a filter medium for a filter is manufactured by using a plurality of kinds of heat bonding fibers composed of main body fibers and binder fibers having the melting point lower than that of main fibers.
SOLUTION: Two raw fabrics Ra and La constituted of a plurality of kinds of heat bonding fibers composed of main body fibers and binder fibers and with different fiber diameters are pressure bonded by thermocompression border 1 and 2 composed of hot plates and the like to melt the binder fibers, and respective main body fibers are bonded one another and raw fabrics are bonded each other by the molten binder fibers, and at the time when the surface layer temperature of the bonded raw fabrics is lowered to the temperature for solidifying the binder fibers, the raw fabric is press molded.
