Abstract:
PURPOSE: To have extrusion of an electric wire covered with a film thickness of 0.10mm or less by using a polymer of tetrafluoroethylene type having a melt index over 4.
CONSTITUTION: A polymer of tetrafluoroethylene type having a melt index over 4 is used either solely or in combination with any normally used additives, and an electric wire covered with a film of 0.10mm thick or less is extruded. A polymer of tetrafluoroethylene type is used, which shall have a melt index over 4, preferably being 5W12, and further favorably ranging 5W10. To the polymer of tetrafluoroethylene type is used ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer.
