Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a surface treated Al sheet excellent in press formability, weldability or the like by subjecting an Al material applied with zinc substitution plating to specified heat treatment.

CONSTITUTION: To the Al material or Al alloy material, with zinc substitution plating is applied After that, heat treatment is executed at 80 to 200°C for 1 to 10min. Furthermore, the Al material or Al alloy is plated by zinc substitution plating, then, electrogalvanized, and after that, similar heat treatment is executed. By that, it can contribute to the expansion of the utilization of aluminum for an automotive body, therefore, for the improvement of the fuel consumption of an automobile.
