Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a glucose sensor which is highly sensitive and has less scattering in response characteristics by adding a simple process in manufacture of a glucose sensor where a blended layer of glucose oxidase as an enzyme and potassium ferricyanide as an electron receptor is placed on a measuring pole and the opposite pole which are laid out closely to each other using a carbon paste.
CONSTITUTION: For manufacturing a glucose sensor, a pair of electrodes which consist of a measuring pole 4 and an opposite pole 5 which are in proximity each other due to printing or coating of a carbon paste are provided on an insulation substrate 1. A blended layer of redox enzyme where an impurity protein is dissolved and modified by agitation treatment and an electron receptor is formed on the pair of electrodes.
