Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance material yields by reducing the amount of polishing during a polishing process in which an outer shape is finished, in a method for manufacturing a golf shaft using filament winding method.
CONSTITUTION: A bundle of resin-impregnated long fibers is wound around a core by filament winding method to form a long-fiber reinforcement layer 2, and a half-set resin film is wound onto the long-fiber reinforcement layer 2 to form a resin layer 1, and after the resin is set and the core is drawn out, the outermost resin layer 1 or part of the resin layer 1 and the long-fiber reinforcement layer 2 are polished.
