PURPOSE: To enable sticking of a beltike material free from meandering or creases, by a method wherein a beltlike constituent material of a tire is held on a suction table by sucking, the tip part of which abuts against the undersurface of a belt drum and then the above-mentioned suction is released and the beltlike material is wound around the drum.
CONSTITUTION: In the case where a green tire is manufactured by sticking a nylon band 19 as a constituent material of a tire to a belt drum 2, a steel breaker fed through a breaker servicer is stuck beforehand to the drum 2. Then the band 19 is fed through a drawing-out device 20 and sucked to a guide surface 33 of a sucking table 32. Then a movable rest 24 is moved forward by operation of a motor 25 and at the time when the tip of the band 19 arrives at a place directly below the drum 2, its movement is suspended. Then after the front part of a rocking rest 28 is raised by an elevating cylinder 31, the tip part of the band 19 abuts against an outer circumferential surface of the drum 2 and sucking of the band 19 is released, the drum 2 and movable rest 24 are driven synchronously and the band 19 is wound round the outer circumferential surface of the drum 2.
