PURPOSE: To eliminate an evacuation process, by a method wherein a flat heat pipe, whose one end is closed, is shaped, and after an operational medium is sealed, a mechanical strength is applied from the outside to deform into a heat pipe having a desired sectional shape.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical pipe 1 is flatened by means of rolls 2, and after one end thereof is closed and air is exhausted, an operational medium 4 is poured into through the other end. So processed pipe is cut to a desired length to seal an open end. The work is fitted in semicircle frames 6 to form a section in a circle. This increases an inside measurement of a heat pipe container 3, and thereby the heat pipe container 3 is filled with vapour of the operational medium 4, which results in preventing interference of air. The evacuation process can thus be eliminated.
