PURPOSE: To obtain a hollow molding having a light weight and a large strength by fusion bonding softened synthetic resins to one another, and forming a partition wall by the fusion bonded part therein.
CONSTITUTION: A pressing mold 1 has a lower mold 2 and an upper mold 3. Many softened synthetic resins 4 sealed at both ends are aligned and set in the mold 2. The resins 4 are press molded between the molds 2 and 3 of the mold 1. The resins 4 are fusion bonded to each other by press molding, and a hollow molding 5 in which the fusion bonded part becomes an inner partition wall 5A is molded. The holding 5 is used as the door trim base material of an automobile, a skin material 6 is adhered to the surface of the molding 5 as the door trim of the automobile.
