PURPOSE: To smoothly and rapidly push a mandrel out of a hose by fully spreading liquid all over between the inner surface of the hose and the surface of the mandrel so as to completely release the adhesion between said two surfaces by a method wherein liquid having the predetermined pressure is fed inside the one end of the vulcanized hose after the other end of the hose is clamped together with the mandrel.
CONSTITUTION: Under the condition that one end of a vulcanized hose 1 is clamped together with a mandrel by a clamping member 3, liquid having the predetermined pressure is fed until the leakage of the liquid through the clamped end of the hose 1 continues for the predetermined period of time. As a result, the liquid is fully spread all over between the inner surface of the hose 1 and the surface of the mandrel 2 so as to completely release the adhesion between said two surfaces. After that, by releasing clamping, the mandrel 2 is pushed out of the hose 1 by means of liquid pressure.
