A control member controlling the molding raw material feed height and having its lower end formed into the wavy sectional shape almost same as the shape of the upper face of a molded body is provided on a position adjacent to a spreading roll 33, and the thickness of a molding raw material 8 fed onto a water-permeable sheet 2 before spreading is controlled by the control member so that the thickness is uniform in the width direction of the water-permeable sheet 2 and also the speed of consumption of a molding raw material 8 in spreading and shaping is faster than the precipitation speed of a solid content in the molding material 8.
