PURPOSE: To produce an information record carrier whose shape would not be changed with time, by placing an ultraviolet-curing resin, a base, and an ultraviolet-curing resin in turn on a pressure plate, irradiating them with ultraviolet rays from the press plate side while they are pressed by a stamper.

CONSTITUTION: The base 1 of an ultraviolet transmitting material is put between the press plate 11 of an ultraviolet transmitting material and the stamper 13 having signals 14, and the ultraviolet-curing resins 2, 3 in the shape of a round- mirror are placed between the press plate 11 and the base 13 and between the base 1 and the stamper 13. Then the press plate 11 and the stamper 13 are approached to each other so that the ultraviolet-curing resins 2, 3 are extended on both surfaces of the base 1, and with them in this state, the resins are irradiated with ultraviolet rays from the side of the press plate 11 so that the ultraviolet-curing resins 2, 3 are cured. Thus, the titled information record carrier the shape of which would not be changed with time can be readily and promptly produced.
