PURPOSE: To obtain the titled carrier from a raw material free from foul smell that is excellent in adhesion to a substrate and has a long life, by placing, on a transfer mold, a radiation curable lacquer layer containing a monomer capable of joining through a hydrogen bond, placing a substrate and on the lacquer layer so that the lacquer layer is sandwiched therebetween, hardening the lacquer layer with radiation, and removing the hardened layer.
CONSTITUTION: A radiation curable lacquer layer 3 comprising a mixture of 10W80wt%, preferably 20W60wt%, mono(meth)acrylate having a functional group capable of joining through a hydrogen bond and the balance of a polyvalent acrylate free from such a functional group is placed on the surface of the transfer mold 2 such as a matrix or stamper having signal pits 1 in the surface, then the plastic substrate 4, spacers 5, etc. are placed thereon so that the lacquer layer is sandwiched therebetween, the radiation 6 is projected to harden the lacquer layer 3, and the hardened lacquer layer 3 is removed from the transfer mold to obtain the intended carrier.
