PURPOSE: To rapidly manufacture a printing head of especially high density in large quantities in low cost and to also easily prepare a line printing head.

CONSTITUTION: A laser permeable vibration plate 2 is bonded to a head substrate 1 for forming ink passages and a mask 3 having the pattern of a large number of individual ink passages is closely bonded to the vibration plate 2 to irradiate the head substrate 1 with excimer laer L to form a large number of individual ink passages 1a to the upper part of the head substrate 1. The laser L transmits through the vibration plate 2 to form the individual ink passages 1a to the upper part of the head substrate 1.
