PURPOSE: To eliminate orientation of fiber and provide the manufacturing method to enable mass production of an inorganic plate material of superior strength and low water absorption properties easily.
CONSTITUTION: Cement slurry 2A blended with reinforced fiber is fed laminarily on a molding belt 1 and then dry powdery cement blend 3 is spray fed laminarily on the cement slurry layer 2 by means of a hopper 4 and smoothed into the given thickness by a first multi-platen press roll 5, and then cement slurry B blended with reinforced fiber is fed again laminarily 6 on the laminate. As the final step, the three-layered laminate 7 is compressed by a second multi- platen press roll 8 on a press 9 and integrated, and a molded body thus manufactured is cured by an autoclave and integrated. An inorganic plate material of superior strength and low water absorption properties can be manufactured by forming slurry layers for the surface and rear face and a dry powdery raw material layer for an intermediate layer.
