Title:
MANUFACTURE OF INSULATED STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5661735
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To secure a metallic member rigidly to a ceramic member, by pushing the end of a metallic member into a through-hole made in a ceramic body then fixing the metallic member to the through-hole by means of a glass wax permeated at the pushing section through heating.

CONSTITUTION: Metal terminals 3, 3 are pushed into both ends of a through-hole 2 made in a ceramic body 1, then it is immersed into a glass wax liquid 8 in a fusing furnace. The glass wax liquid 8 is contacted with the metal terminals 3, 3. The glass wax liquid 8 will moisture the metal terminals 3, 3 and the through-hole 2 while simultaneously permeate to the gaps, and when it is drawn up and cooled the glass wax liquid 8 is solidified thereby the ends of the metal terminals 3, 3 is secured by the glass wax filled compactly in the through-hole 2 of the ceramic body 1.
