Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the strength of a laminated molded form having a looplike bent part of a resin core material and improve the molding stability by inserting the material into a cross head die, covering the entire periphery with thermoplastic resin, and forcibly heating a fusion-bonded part before an edge of the bent part is fusion-bonded to a core material body.
CONSTITUTION: A long sheetlike fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin core material 1 is sequentially continuously shaped to a specific shape. Both edges are bent in a loop state, then a core material 8 with a looplike bent part 7 is inserted into a cross head die 5, and thermoplastic resin is extruded to its entire periphery to be covered. In order to fusion-bond the edge 7a of the bent part to a core material body 8a by covering resin pressure in a die, a part to be previously fusion-bonded is forcibly heated immediately before the fusion- bonding. The material 1 is effectively fusion-bonded to the body 8a at the edge 7a of the bent part.
