In the manufacturing method for the metallic tube with the spiral fin having ≥5mm height on the outer periphery of a pipe stock by applying cold-cross helical rolling using a mandrel bar and three rolling rolls with annular grooves, according to a fin outer diameter (df: mm) and a metallic tube having the inner diameter (mandrel bar outer diameter) (dm: mm), the metallic tube stock having the outer diameter (dol: mm) and the inner diameter (dil: mm) satisfying the following formulas (I) and (II) is used. 1.0<ft<dol/dm<1.07... (I). 1.0<df/dol<1.3... (II). The metallic tube with the spiral fin integrating the fin having ≥5mm height and the tube body can be manufactured in good quality.
