PURPOSE: To completely swell a thick wall part, and to form the thick wall part having a good shape, by compressing a plate material in the direction of the thick wall part, and also, pressing and forming it by at least by two processes, in case of forming the thick wall part by pressing a hole die against a uniform thick plate material.
CONSTITUTION: A uniform thick and long-sized material 5 is pressed between a plate 7 and a hole die 6 and a partial thick wall part 3 is formed. In that case, both side of the plate material 5 are detained by a stopper 8 and pressed by the first process, swollen satisfactorily, and subsequently, swollen completely by the second process and thereafter. Also, it is allowed that an elongation in the longitudinal direction is detained by providing an elongation stopper 8 in the longitudinal direction. By a good swollen shape of this thick wall part, a large heat capacity and a strong rigidity, for instance, an adhesion of a semiconductor and a connection of a signal line can be executed satisfactorily.
