PURPOSE: To obtain a normal mode choke coil which is excellent in a high-frequency characteristic and whose cost is low regarding the normal mode choke coil which is used for measures against an electromagnetic noise and which is wound on a ring-shaped magnetic core.

CONSTITUTION: The title choke coil is constituted as follows: a yellow wire material 1, a red wire material 2, a khaki wire material 3 and a blue wire material 4 whose color tones are different from each other; two of the yellow wire material and the red wire material are wound simultaneously on a toroidal core T; two or the khaki wire material and the blue wire material are wound in a direction opposite to the winding direction which has been wound previously; the winding end 1e of the yellow wire material and the winding start 3s of the khaki wire material are connected at a point D; the winding end 3e of the khaki wire material and the winding start 2s of the red wire material are connected at a point E; and the winding end 2e of the red wire material and the winding start 4s of the blue wire material are connected at a point F.
