PURPOSE: To obtain a package wherein a little sub-material may be used and the package is excellent in drop strength by fixing support plates made of paper at both ends of a roll, making a corrugated cardboard sheet fitted to a size and winding it to be fixed.
CONSTITUTION: For example, a pair of rolls 1 is made into one set, and support plates 5 made of paper are attached and assembled at both ends of the pair of rolls. Then an assembled body is bundled by a band 4 and fixed to provide an assembly so as to maintain stability during transportation. If the paper support plate 5 is a laminate structure of corrugated cardboard sheets, impact at the time of drop is weakened, thereby protecting the rolls 1. Then the assembly is measured, and a corrugated cardboard sheet as a base material is fed and cut by the informed amount to produce a corrugated cardboard sheet 6B. Then the corrugated cardboard sheet 6B is wound around the assembly. The corrugated cardboard sheet 6B cut into each size can be fixed after being wound with adhesive applied on margins for pasting or the like. Then an adhesive tape is applied on overlapped portions of the corrugated cardboard sheet 6B and the paper support plates 5.
