Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a parabola antenna, which can be molded without causing the breakage of sheet having electromagnetic wave reflecting layer therein by a method wherein injection and compression molding is performed by pouring thermoplastic resin in a molding die, in which the sheet having electromagnetic wave reflecting layer therein is arranged, so as to mold a base plate and, at the same time, to shape the sheet and to integrally bond the sheet and the base plate to each other.

CONSTITUTION: Polyvinylidene fluoride 2 is used in sheet 10 having electromagnetic wave reflecting layer 1 therein. The electromagnetic wave reflecting layer 1 is made of easy formable soft aluminum foil having full stretching properties. As resin, of which the base plate of a parabola antenna is made, thermoplastic resin is used and preferably PPO or the like or polymer blend resin containing at least 50 % of PPO or the like is used. Under the condition that the sheet 10 having electromagnetic wave reflecting layer 1 therein is set between molding dies 12 and 13, thermoplastic resin is poured from the concave mold 13 side of the die in thin mold space. After the predetermined amount of the resin is poured, the resin is compressed and formed to the predetermined mold space in order to obtain a product having the predetermined thickness.
