PURPOSE: To provide a new method of manufacture which enables commercial mass-production of plastic cards with a photograph while hardly increasing the thickness of the cards and not deteriorating their mechanical properties and that not impeding the operation of the handling equipment.

CONSTITUTION: A plastic card with a photograph is manufactured by bonding a peelable plastic adhesive film to the gelatine-film surface of developed silver halide photographic printing paper, then peeling a stack of the gelatine film and the plastic adhesive film from a base, laying and bonding the back of the gelatine film of the stack to a plastic sheet surface via a film of heat- sensitive adhesive, then peeling and removing only the peelable plastic adhesive film, and then performing trimming.
