Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely reduce the content of a chlorine compd. by adding an additive at the position nearer to an extrusion nozzle than the vent provided immediately behind the water injecting and adding position nearest to the extrusion nozzle.
SOLUTION: In this method for extruding a polycarbonate resin in a molten state while water is injected into and added to the resin from two or more places and the resin is degassed through a vent by using a twin-screw extruder fitted with a multistage vent having two or more places having function injecting and add water immediately before the vent, an additive is added at the position nearer to an extrusion nozzle than the vent provided immediately behind the water injecting and adding position nearest to the extrusion nozzle.
