PURPOSE: To omit the step of primer treatment, by sticking ornamental paper printed with cellulosic resin-contg. printig ink to which a special compound is added to the substrate of a plate to be completed, and applying unsaturated polyester resin paint onto the printed surface.
CONSTITUTION: Printing ink is prepared by adding a polyisocyanate compound and/or unsaturated polyester resin to cellulosic resin-contg. printing ink. A figure, pattern or the like is printed onto ornamental paper using said printing ink, and the ornamental paper is stuck onto the substrate of a plate to be completed such as a wooden or non-combustible plate. Thereafter, unsaturated polyester resin paint is applied onto the printed surface of the ornamental paper and then cured to obtain the completed decorative plate. The amount of the polyisocyanate compound or the like to be added to the cellulose-contg. printing ink is pref. at 3W50pts. by 100pts. of the printing ink.
