Abstract:

PURPOSE: To continuously manufacture and in mass production by impregnating and solidifying porous stereoscopic woven fabric with matrix in a state that the fabric is tightened by a plurality of bodies of sequentially operating tension feeding means while weaving the fabric.

CONSTITUTION: The starting ends of fiber bundles Z, X, Y are coupled to one end of a long jig 8, a weaving machine 1 is operated to feed porous stereoscopic woven fabric A sequentially woven in each weaving cycle by means of tension feeder bodies 2, 3, the bundles Z, X, Y of the fabric A held in its shape in a tensile state are impregnated and solidified with matrix B in a tunnel type impregnating and solidifying unit 5 to form a porous stereoscopic structure C. Then, the jig 8 is removed, the structure C is pulled by the one body 2, and the feeding is finished by the body 2. Then, the bundles X, Y, Z of the fabric A are impregnated and solidified with matrix B while feeding by the other body 3 to continuously manufacture the structure C.
