PURPOSE: To provide a manufacture of dental inlay instead of lost wax method.
CONSTITUTION: Raw material powder 1 in which sintering powder such as titanium, ceramic or the like is mixed with a binder aqueous solution is molded by hydrostatic pressure-molding by means of a silicone rubber mold fitted in a closed box based on the pressure due to compressed air to mold a block- shaped powder molded body 2. Vacuum desiccation evaporates water from this powder molded body to form a powder caked material block 3, and this powder caked material block is mechanically processed by mean of a three- dimensional processing machine 19 based on an inlaid mold data which is formed by the impression of the affected part of a tooth to mold a powder caked impeller 20, thereafter a powder sintered dental inlay 21 is obtained by de-bindering and successively sintering. Thereby, a precision dental inlay can be molded easily by using the material such as titanium or ceramic or the like which was never or difficult to be formed by cut-processing or casting and has excellent property as a medical material.
