The method for manufacturing prepregs for a laminate comprises the steps of executing impregnating with thermosetting resin and drying it while feeding lengthy sheet-like base materials of stacked state, and cutting it in a predetermined size in the state a plurality of the materials are integrated. The superposing number of the materials in the case of impregnating it with the resin is suitably two to three. The prepregs cut in a predetermined size can be suspectedly handled as one prepreg since the plurality of the materials are integrated, and hence productivity of the stacking operation of the prepregs is improved.
