PURPOSE: To obtain a plural even number of processed paper simultaneously by a method wherein two parallel slits are made in the running original paper 2, the part of the original paper between two slits is removed and laminate films are fitted by melting to this part and both side edges of the paper in manufacturing the processed paper with the synthetic resin films being given on to the surface thereof.

CONSTITUTION: Two parallel slits are made at a required interval in the running original paper 1 and the beltlike paper formed between these slits is removed, whereby the separate sheets of original paper 1a and 1b are obtained. On both surfaces of both sheets of original paper the films 4 larger in width than the original paper 1 are laminated, ear-part films 4a and 4b and a connection film 4c are laminated on top and bottom and fitted by melting, and further a slit is made in the center line part of the film 4c, whereby processed paper sheets A1 and A2 are obtained. In addition, as occasion calls, processed paper sheets A3, A4, A5 and A6 may be also prepared by making the slit further in each center line part of A1 and A2. By this method, a plural even number of processed paper sheets can be manufactured efficiently from one roll of original paper simultaneously.
