Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a rubber-thermoplastic resin composite material in which a fiber or a flat fragment is uniformly dispersed.
This method comprises a process of forming a blend consisting of a thermoplastic resin and a rubber by simultaneously giving heat and shearing stress on the rubber in the presence of the thermoplastic resin, and a process of stretching the blend immediately after the blend is formed. The rubber and the thermoplastic resin are pref. selected to satisfy the condition of β value = (η1/≤2)×(2/1)>1 (wherein η 1 is melt viscosity of the thermoplastic resin, η2 is melt viscosity of the rubber, η1 is blending quantity of the thermoplastic resin, and 2 is blending quantity of the rubber).
