Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a sandwich panel using a core made of a thin mineral wool sheet and, for example, a metal sheet surface layer by moving a thin sheet piece obtained by cutting from the thin mineral wool sheet to a thin sheet mat for forming the thin sheet piece and moving the thin sheet piece in the internal thin sheet of the thin sheet core with the thin sheet piece which precedes under control.
CONSTITUTION: A thin sheet piece obtained by cutting with a saw from a cured mineral wool sheet A is turned 90° around the longitudinal axial line of a thin sheet B and then is moved to a mat C consisting of the thin sheet B forming a thin sheet core. The sheet A forming a surface layer is cut to the appropriate size and shape and then is attached to the principal face of the core. The internal individual thin sheet pieces of each of the thin sheets B in the thin sheet core are moved together with the thin sheet pieces under pressure and the thin sheets B lying side by side are also moved together under pressure. In this case, the surface layer sheet is molded by cutting to the panel size while it is moved from a storage roll to a panel joining place. Thus it is possible to obtain a panel with a sufficient product strength as a long-size building material.
