PURPOSE: To maintain cutting performance for a long period of time by suppressing the abrasion of a cutting edge by applying the hard metal plating onto the whole surfaces of the saw teeth arranged in one row and carrying out grinding for each one-sides surface side which is tilted alternately and allowing the saw body material to be exposed on the tilted part.

CONSTITUTION: The saw teeth 1 which are arranged in one row of a saw body 2 whose outer surface is applied with the hard metal plating 3 is ground by a file, etc., so that each one side surface on the right and left sides is alternately tilted, and then the hard metal plated part 3 of the tilted surface 4 is ground, and the base metal of the saw body 2 is exposed. Since, when the material is cut according to the same principle to that in the conventional saw, the edge of the saw teeth 1 is an acute angle part which forms the tilted surface 4 where the one-side surface of the hard metal plating 3 and steel are exposed, the edge is prevented from being worn out because of the hard metal plating 3, and the cutting performance is not deteriorated. After a number of times of use, the tilted surface 4 where steel is exposed is worn out, and the angle of the edge is made more sharp, and the cutting perfor mance tends to be enhanced, and the cutting performance can be maintained for a long period of time.
