Title:
MANUFACTURE OF SINTERED MAGNETIC MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62185858
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain sintered magnetic material having superior magnetic characteristic to that of conventional one, by mixing specified respective ratios of ferrosilicon and ferrophosphor powders with iron powder, press forming them to compact and sintering it in vacuum atmosphere.

CONSTITUTION: Ferrosilicon powder corresponding to 0.5W10wt% in Si quantity and ferrophosphor powder corresponding to 0.1W1.8wt% in P quantity are arranged and mixed with iron powder as material powder. Next, e.g. amide stearate is arranged as lubricant to the mixed powder, these are mixed by ball mill, then press formed to obtain compact. Next, the compact is subjected to treatment for removing lubricant, then sintered in vacuum atmosphere. Sintered magnetic material obtd. as the result has superior DC magnetic characteristic, i.e. low Hc, high μmax, Br and B25 required as yoke material.
