Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and surely manufacture a spring material from a hollow raw material by lathe turning work.
CONSTITUTION: A spiral groove is lathe-turned on a hollow raw material 2 where at least a filling material 3 is inserted and fixed to the inner peripheral portion. At the time of lathe-turning, some of the filling material 3 is machined together with the hollow material 2. Thus, a spring material can be machined quickly and easily. With jointly cutting, the generation of burr and peeling-off can be decreased.
