Abstract:
PURPOSE: To manufacture a stainless steel band by compressing stainless steel to form a semi-unit piece in the bottom face of which two or more lines of hemispherical recessed vessels are cut, welding two of the semi-unit pieces together to form a unit piece having two pin holes, and connecting the pin holes together using a pin. CONSTITUTION: A unit piece 10 comprises two upper and lower semi-unit pieces 10' and is manufactured using a punch press, with two or more hemispherical recessed vessels 13' formed in the bottom face 12 of each semi-unit piece 10'. The upper and lower semi-unit piece 10' are fixed in a model and welded together at both sides to form the unit piece 10. By connecting the two pin holes 103 in the unit piece 10 together by means of a pin 2, a metal band 11 is obtained. Also, the unit piece 10 is cut to form a notched opening 14 and notched sides 15, between which a projecting part is formed and can be put into the notched opening 14 in the other unit piece 10. Two pin holes 13 are formed in each unit piece 10, and the pin holes are joined together by a pin 2 to obtain the metal band.
